About

Faith is an experienced educator, who has taught full-time in both public and private schools. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Michigan State University and is passionate about making science engaging and accessible, while building strong connections with students to support their academic growth.

Faith’s passion for education began in high school when she started tutoring classmates, planting the seed for a lifelong commitment to teaching. In college, she went on to work as a university athlete tutor and served as a teaching assistant for biology courses, where she further honed her ability to support diverse learners and meet a variety of academic needs. One of the highlights of her career was coaching a team of students in NASA’s Plant the Moon Project, where they won the Best in Show Award in 2023.

Her goal is to not only support students’ content needs but also to help them grow as learners by sharpening their study habits, test-taking strategies, and other personal skills that will set them up for success. In her free time, she enjoys coaching, exercise, water sports, reading, traveling, playing softball, and cooking—activities that help her maintain a balanced, energetic lifestyle, which she brings into her tutoring sessions.
