Andrew

Andrew is an experienced educator and graduate of St. John’s University, where he earned dual degrees in Physical Science and Psychology.

As a teacher, Andrew is equally at home in the classroom and in one-on-one tutoring sessions, comfortable breaking down everything from basic math to the headaches of advanced calculus. He’s worked with students of all backgrounds and skill levels; whether he’s tutoring a college student with a passion for chemistry or a highschool student who needs help just keeping up in their class, Andrew makes sure each of his students reaches that “aha!” moment. In lessons, he draws on his psychology background to connect with a student’s learning style: Rather than just presenting information, he takes the time to figure out how each person learns best.

Outside of tutoring, Andrew enjoys playing heavy metal music and writing.
